Patriots Injury Update: Sebastian Vollmer, Logan Mankins Return To Practice

Stay connected for news and updates

The New England Patriots had offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer and guard Logan Mankins back at practice on Tuesday as the team prepares for their AFC Divisional Playoff matchup with Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos (via WEEI.com).

The practice was the first for Vollmer since he hurt his right foot five games ago. Mankins had not practiced since injuring his knee against the Dolphins on Christmas Eve.

This was the first practice in full pads for the Pats since Dec. 7. It was the first practice since Bill O'Brien left for new assistant coach Josh McDaniels, who will assume O'Brien's duties as offensive coordinator. O'Brien was hired as the head coach of Penn State late last week.

Mankins was one seven Patriots selected to be starters for the AFC at the 2012 Pro Bowl.
