NFL Playoffs 2012, Patriots Vs. Broncos: Bill Belichick Praises Tim Tebow

Stay connected for news and updates

Tim Tebow is pretty good. The numbers may not suggest it, but the success certainly has. Tebow took the NFL world by storm this season and led the Denver Broncos to an improbable 29-23 overtime win over the Steelers this past Sunday.

Some may still doubt Tebow's abilities, but Patriots head coach Bill Belichick knows better.

"Whatever it takes to win, he's done a good job of doing that," said Belichick. "I think whenever Tebow is in the shotgun, then you have the possibility of him running their regular shotgun passing game and you also have the possibility of them running the ball, whether he's the runner or it's a dive and he keeps it. You really need another defender in the running game but it's hard to get that defender when five guys, at least four guys and sometimes five guys spread out the passing game. (via WEEI)

Belichick offered more insight on Tebow and the Broncos' winning ways over at WEEI.com.
