With the Patriots already losing big in this one, we have more discouraging injury news to report to you.
The Patriots announced (via Twitter) that Wes Welker has left the game with a neck injury. His return is questionable and seems unlikely at this point. He appeared to injury his neck after attempting to make a tackle after Tom Brady threw his second quarter interception.
Cornerback Jonathan Wilhite left the field under his own power after he looked a little shaken up after a play in the third quarter. Wilhite’s status remains uncertain at this point.
