Aaron Rodgers completed 11-of-16 passes for 137 yards and two touchdowns, giving the Green Bay Packers a 21-10 advantage over the Pittsburgh Steelers at halftime of Super Bowl XLV in Dallas.
Jody Nelson had four catches for 63 yards and a touchdown for Green Bay. James Starks racked up 37-yards on seven carries in the opening half.
Ben Roethelisberger was 13-for-21 with 143 passing yards, one touchdown and two interceptions for Pittsburgh. Antwaan Randle El had two catches for 50 yards.
The Packers held a 14-0 lead after one quarter. Steelers’ kicker Shaun Suisham hit a 33-yard field goal to put Pittsburgh on the board with 11:53 left in the second quarter. Rodgers found Greg Jennings for a 21-yard touchdown pass with 2:31 left in the half, giving the Packers a 21-3 lead.
Roethelisberger threw his first touchdown pass of the game, an eight-yard toss to Hines Ward, with 47 seconds left in the first half to cut the Packers’ lead to 21-10 entering halftime.
