Patriots Sign Lousaka Polite, Add Malcolm Williams To Practice Squad

The New England Patriots announced two roster moves today (via Patriots.com). The team signed fullback Lousaka Polite and added cornerback Malcolm Williams to the practice squad.

The team did not release details about Polite's contract. Polite is a 30-year-old veteran who has played for Dallas, Chicago and Miami. During his career, he has made 27 starts in 95 appearances. Polite has 296 rushing yards and 233 receiving yards in his career and two total touchdowns.

Star-divide

Williams was drafted out of TCU by the Patriots in the seventh round of the 2011 NFL Draft. This will be his third stint on the practice squad this season after being released on Aug. 29. Williams was also signed to the 53-man roster and saw game action against the Washington Redskins on Dec. 11. Williams was released on Dec. 15.
