Patriots vs. Bills: Buffalo Running At Will Against New England, Bills Up 3-0

Stay connected for news and updates

The Buffalo Bills have scored first, opening the game with a series of runs to get within striking distance of the Patriots’ end zone before settling for three.

If the Bills had stayed on the ground, they may have picked up seven, but a pair of shots at the end zone ended up just barely out of bounds and off fingertips respectively.

The Patriots’ defense is sorely missing key run stoppers Brandon Spikes and Jermaine Cunningham. The Bills were gouging the Patriots for five at a time inside when not cutting outside for larger gains.

Still more injuries have the Patriots’ defensive line playing out-of-position. Bill Belichick might have to consider moving Vince Wilfork back to the NT position if the Bills continue to run at will.
