Stay connected for news and updates

When the Patriots battle the Bills in a frigid Buffalo Sunday afternoon, looking to clinch the AFC East and a first-round bye with a with, they'll do so without eight players, including OL/kickoff return specialist Dan Connolly (concussion) and rookie TE Aaron Hernandez (hip).

Along with Connolly and Hernandez, the other Patriots who did not make the trip to Buffalo and were listed as inactive were linebacker Jermaine Cunningham (calf), defensive lineman Brandon Deaderick (shoulder), defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) and defensive lineman Myron Pryor (back).

The finally two inactive players, released by the Patriots Sunday morning, are WR Taylor Price and RB Thomas Clayton. Price has not appeared in a game this season.
