Having won the coin toss and chosen to receive, the Browns came out of the gates swinging with a good return set up Colt McCoy at the 37-yard line. One strike to Mohamed Massaquoi and a strong run from Peyton Hillis later, and the Browns were just 22-yards away.
The Patriots defense stepped up, though, and stopped the Browns there, with Jonathan Wilhite’s tight coverage shutting down a 3rd down shot downfield and forcing the Browns to settle for the field goal.
