While you were sleeping, a trade that would send Randy Moss from the Patriots to the Vikings went from a possibility to seemingly a done deal. A source has told ESPN's Adam Schefter "I'd be shocked if it doesn't happen."
It's not longer "if," but "when," apparently:
Filed to ESPN: When the Randy Moss-to-Minnesota trade is completed later, Patriots will receive a third-round pick in return from Vikings.
Schefter added that in return, New England would receive a third-round pick, giving the Patriots a loaded 2001 NFL Draft: two picks each in the first, second, third and fourth rounds.
