NCAA Hockey Tournament 2012, Minnesota Vs. Boston University: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The third-seeded Boston University Terriers meet the second-seeded Minnesota Golden Gophers on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota in a matchup of two of college hockey's most successful programs during the first round of the 2012 NCAA Hockey Tournament. (Game Time: 5 p.m., TV Schedule: NESN)

BU earned an at-large berth into the field by virtue of a 23-14-1 record, including a 17-9-1 mark in the Hockey East. Oddly enough considering the Terriers' long history of NCAA tournament appearances, only two of the current players have tournament experience. Chris Connolly and Kieran Millan both impacted the 2009 championship run -- Connolly registered three points, including a goal and an assist in the national championship game, and Millan earned a spot on the All-Tournament team after posting a 4-0 record with a 2.65 goals-against average.
