Beanpot 2012
Championship Game: Boston College Eagles vs. Boston University Terriers - 7:30 p.m. (TV/Radio: NESN/98.5 FM): It's Boston College and Boston University for all the glory. And really, would you want to have it any other way? Two of college hockey's biggest rivals get together for the 21st time in the championship game of the Beanpot. BU is 12-8 all-time in those tilts. BC has won three of the last four Beanpot titles, as well as the last two. BU and BC have combined for 45 of the 59 titles.
Consolation Game: Harvard Crimson vs. Northeastern Huskies - 4:30 p.m. (TV/Radio: NESN/95.3 FM): Warm up for the big championship game between BC and BU with the Beanpot 2012 consolation game between the Crimson and Huskies. Of course, both teams lost their semifinal matchups against Boston College and Boston University last Monday in Boston. Harvard has won 10 Beanpot titles while Northeastern has won four.
