The Connecticut Huskies still possess some Big East tournament magic.
A year after Kemba Walker led UConn to five victories in five days to conquer Madison Square Garden, Shabazz Napier led a 71-67 overtime victory that pushed the Huskies into Thursday's Big East quarterfinals against Syracuse.
Napier finished with 26 points, six assists, three steals and three blocks to lead UConn back from an 11-point second-half deficit, and Jeremy Lamb hit a three-pointer with 1:09 left in overtime to put the Huskies ahead for good.
After missing a long three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation that would have ended the game, Napier fouled out with 2:35 remaining in the extra session, leaving Lamb to take the Huskies home.
Lamb finished with 22 points and seven rebounds.
