Big East Championship 2012, Cincinnati Vs. Louisville Game Time, TV Schedule And More

After a surprising Friday at Madison Square Garden, the Cincinnati Bearcats and Louisville Cardinals meet for the Big East Championship in the mecca of basketball on Saturday night.

Cincinnati used a blistering start to upset top-seeded Syracuse Thursday during the Big East Tournament semifinals. The Bearcats hit eight of their first 10 threes to build an early 25-8 advantage and hung on for a 71-68 win.

Louisville beating Notre Dame in the other semifinal wasn't particularly surprising, but the ease with which the Cardinals dispatched the Fighting Irish was. Notre Dame did not muster a field goal during the final 12:42 of the first half while Louisville built a 35-19 halftime lead, and the Cardinals maintained a double-digit cushion throughout the entire second half.

Game Time: 9 p.m. ET, Saturday, March 10

Location: Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

TV: ESPN
