College Basketball Bracketology: UConn Remains In and Harvard Slips Slightly

UConn remains in the bracket so far despite its recent issues while Harvard falls one slot after the weekend.

Feb 13, 2012 - In the latest SB Nation Bracketology update, UConn is sitting as a No. 9 seed while Harvard tumbled to a No. 11 slot after its loss to Princeton on Saturday.

UConn should be thrilled right now if it were to nab such a respectable seed. As defending champions, the Huskies got off to a brilliant start before struggling mightily in the Big East. Their record is very mediocre (15-9, 5-7) and the last good team they've beaten was Notre Dame a month ago.

Losers of six of their previous seven, the Huskies need to turn their fortunes in a hurry if they want to stay relevant. Even with that, the Big East tournament will be a huge determiner of where they end up in March.

As for Harvard, its quietly gone about its business with a weak schedule but dominating performances throughout the year. However, the loss to Princeton hurts them and their stock. If the Crimson can bounce back they should remain right around the middle of the bracket.
