UConn Vs. Seton Hall Final Score: No. 8 Huskies Upset By Pirates, 75-63

The No. 8 UConn Huskies headed to the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Tuesday night with a 12-1 overall record and 2-0 in Big East in-conference play. They were the easy favorites over the hometown Seton Hall Pirates. At the end of the night, they ended up being upset, 75-63.

UConn opened up an 11-2 lead early in the first half and looked to be setting the tone for the rest of the game. The Pirates took a 14-13 lead at 11:24 on a Fuquan Edwin layup and never looked back, heading into halftime with a 35-22 lead.

The Huskies were down by as many as 20 points in the second half, but battled back. They actually managed to outscore the Pirates in the second half, but the early deficit was too much to overcome. The final score of 75-63 was the first Big East loss for the Huskies.
