The Boston Red Sox are having a season filled with ups and downs. At the moment, Bobby Valentine's team is riding an upswing, coming off a series win over the Cubs that has them back at .500. On Tuesday night, they start a series against the Miami Marlins, hoping to keep the momentum alive.
Clay Buchholz gets the start. After a terrible start to the season, the right-hander has reversed course. He won his last three starts, including a seven-inning, one-run effort against these same Marlins. He has not allowed more than two earned runs since May 21.
Miami will start veteran lefty Mark Buehrle, who lost to the Red Sox in his last start. Miami has done little to support the pitcher, scoring just four runs in Buehrle's last three starts.
The game starts at 7:10 p.m. Fans can watch it live on NESN.
