Carl Beane Death: Players, Media, Fans React To Loss Of Legend

Carl Beane, the voice of Fenway Park, died at the age of 59 on Wednesday in a one-car accident in Sturbridge. Beane was the only passenger in his SUV, which swerved off the road and hit a tree. Beane served as the PA announcer for the Red Sox since 2003.

Beane's shocking death dealt a blow to Red Sox players, media members and fans.
