The Red Sox are after a sweep as they meet the Twins for game three Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is at 8:10 p.m. EST, with broadcasts on NESN+ and WEEI.
For the Sox to pull off the sweep, they're going to need some better pitching from Clay Buchholz than they have received so far this year. In his first three starts of the season, Buchholz has surrendered seventeen earned runs in as many innings. He'll have his chance for a rebound against a lineup without the hot-hitting Josh Willingham, who will miss the next three games on paternity leave.
The Red Sox, meanwhile, will have Jarrod Saltalamacchia in the lineup again as they face off against young Liam Hendriks.
