Kevin Youkilis Sets (Painful) Record

Stay connected for news and updates

Kevin Youkilis, you are a trooper. Youkilis set a rather painful record in the fifth inning on Saturday night when he was plunked by Cubs pitcher Carlos Zambrano in the rear end.

The hit-by-pitch was the 72nd of Youkilis' career, which is one more than the previous Red Sox record owned by Mo Vaughn. Zambrano's pitch came in at a sizzling 92 miles per hour. Ouch.
