Montel Harris talks about his dismissal from Boston College.
Montel Harris was one of the best players the Boston College Eagles have ever had. In fact, Harris is the all-time leading rusher in the programs storied history.
Unfortunately, Harris had to be dismissed from the team allegedly due to violations of team rules. Now on Temple, Harris spoke publicly for the first time to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer about the saga.
When asked about why Boston College cut ties with him, Harris chose to look ahead.
"Things didn’t work out the way both ends wanted them to," said Harris. "I had to do what was best for me. The coach had to do what’s best for him. Temple ended up being the best fit for me."
Furthermore, Harris said he didn't appreciate the way people talked about him after his departure from the Eagles program.
