Boston College Vs. Maryland Preview: Eagles Seek ACC Road Win

Boston College men's basketball seeks its first road win against Maryland on Thursday night.

The Boston College Eagles will look to secure their first road of the season on Thursday night when they travel to Maryland to take on the host Terrapins in ACC conference play.

The Eagles have lost seven of eight games overall, including a defeat at the hands of Virginia Tech on Sunday that came on the heels of BC's upset victory over then-17th ranked Florida State.

Maryland is in the midst of a 2-6 stretch, including two losses in their last three home contests. The Terrapins are let by sophomore guard Terrell Stoglin, who leads the ACC in scoring and ranks eighth nationally with 21.6 points per game.

Thursday is the only regular season meeting between the two teams this season.

Boston College enters Thursday's action with a 3-8 ACC record and 8-17 season mark, Maryland is 4-6 in the ACC and 14-10 overall.
