Boston College Vs. Virginia Tech Final Score: Eagles Collapse, 66-65

Dorian Finney-Smith's tip-in with four seconds to go in the game gave the Virginia Tech Hokies (14-11, 3-7 ACC) a 66-65 comeback victory over the Boston College Eagles (8-17, 3-8 ACC) on Sunday at Cassell Coliseum in Blacksburg, VA.

Finney-Smith finished with a game-high 17 points and also grabbed eight rebounds for Virginia Tech, which made 27-of-60 field goals to shoot 45.0 percent. Dorenzo Hudson scored 11 and both Victor Davila and Erick Green had 10 points.

Boston College opened the game on a 9-0 run and led 29-27 at halftime. The Eagles were outscored 39-36 in the second half and saw their 65-59 lead with 1:43 remaining erased. Finney-Smith scored the Hokies' final five points in the win.

Ryan Anderson had 17 points and seven rebounds to lead the Eagles, who shot a sizzling 57.1 percent in the game. Lonnie Jackson scored 14, Matt Humphrey added 13 points, five assists and four steals and Dennis Clifford had 10 points.

The Eagles return to action on Thursday, Feb. 16 against the Maryland Terrapins.
