Reggie Jackson, the standout junior guard from Boston College, highlights a list of 44 players participating in a NBA Draft Combine, which will takes place this weekend, May 7-8, at the PNY Center in East Rutherford, NJ. It is hosted by the Nets, along with the Rockets and the Knicks.
The combine will offer prospective NBA players the chance to strut their athletic ability for scouts and coaches.
The New Jersey Nets, in conjunction with the Houston Rockets and the New York Knicks, will host a draft combine at which forty-four 2011 NBA draft- eligible players will showcase their skills in front of coaches and personnel executives from 26 NBA teams. Players will be measured and skill tested and participate in five-on-five competition. (via NBA.com)
Jackson will be working out on Saturday and will be joined by 21 other prospective players, including Miami's Reggie Johnson and Georgia Tech's Iman Shumpert. Day two of the combine takes place Sunday, with Rhode Island's Delroy James, Georgetown's Austin Freeman and Baylor's Lacedarius Dunn highlighting the attendees.
