Gabe Moton Day-To-Day For BC

Gabe Moton is day-to-day with a right ankle injury that held him out of the Boston College Eagles' 64-57 loss to the Providence Friars on Thursday night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

"I think he's day-to-day," said Boston College head coach Steve Donahue. "He'll probably be back Sunday."

The time of Moton's injury wasn't specified, but the injury was likely suffered during Boston College's loss to Boston University last Saturday. Moton scored six points in 20 minutes against BU.

Regarding his ankle, Moton said that he was "doing better' following the Providence game. In Moton's absence, Jordan Daniels stepped up and played a team-high 38 minutes, finishing with seven points, three assists and two steals.

"I think Jordan is progressing," said Donahue. "He's done a great job in the past couple of weeks. I sensed that he's more ready. I think the game is coming to him a little easier - slowing down, he's not doing those quick reaction turnovers, and I think you see a kid developing. I thought he played well tonight against a very good team, especially the ones that force turnover."

Moton may return to action when Boston College hosts Stony Brook on Sunday.
