Rarely can you sum up a rivalry with two words and have everybody know exactly what you're talking about. But there's one game that fits that billing, and it takes place on Saturday.
It's the Harvard Crimson and the Yale Bulldogs. Yes, it's 'The Game."
Harvard and Yale meet for the 128th edition of "The Game," one of college football's oldest and best rivalries at 12:00 p.m. EDT on Saturday at the Yale Bowl (TV: Versus).
The Bulldogs have a firm grip on the all-time series, owning a 68-54-8 record against their top rival. However, the cards have been on the Crimson's side in the last 10 meetings, of which Harvard has won nine times.
Harvard is 8-1 overall this season and hasn't lost a game against an Ivy League opponent, posting a perfect 6-0 record against its conference foes. Yale is 5-4 entering Saturday's rivalry game and is 4-2 in Ivy League play.
