The Boston College Eagles resume play Friday night against Holy Cross, before meeting the UMass Minutemen Monday night in an intriguing in-state battle.

The young Eagles began the season with a 67-64 home win against New Hampshire. Freshman Patrick Heckmann scored 18 points to go along with eight rebounds, and fellow first-year Ryan Anderson began his college career with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

UMass has looked impressive during a three-game winning streak to begin the season, beating Elon, Northeastern and NJIT by an average of 18.3 points. Chaz Williams has paced the Minutemen with 17.7 points and 9.0 assists per game.
