CHESTNUT HILL - Tanner Price and the Wake Forest Demon Deacons offense used a series of short passes to rack up 134 total yards in the first half, and take a 7-3 lead over the Boston College Eagles at the end of the first quarter.

Wake Forest scored its touchdown on a two-yard rush by Josh Harris, capping off a lengthy drive (10 plays, 74 yards, 4:05) to put the Demon Deacons up 7-0 with 10:55 to play in the opening quarter.

BC's first drive opened with a promising 34-yard pass from quarterback Chase Rettig to receiver Colin Larmond Jr, setting up a first down. However, the Eagles received a personal foul penalty on the drive and were unable to recover, ultimately punting the ball away. The Eagles scored three point on a 36-yard field goal by Nate Freese with 2:52 left.

Montel Harris, who entered the game needing only 99 yards to claim the school's all-time rushing record, had 26 rushing yards in the first quarter. Rettig completed 2-of-8 passes for 48 yards for the Eagles.
