Virginia Tech has moved up two spots, from No. 16 to No. 14, in the Week 12 edition of the AP Top 25 poll.
The Hokies improved in the rankings after Saturday's win at North Carolina, their eighth straight win following two losses that opened the season.
The Atlantic Coast Conference is also represented in the newest AP Top 25 by Miami, which checks in at No. 24 following its win over Georgia Tech.
Overall, Oregon maintained its lead, followed by Auburn at No. 2. Boise State (No. 3) and TCU (No. 4) switched spots, while LSU rounds out the top-five.
