Eagles Vs. Wolfpack: N.C. State Dominates First Quarter

Stay connected for news and updates

North Carolina State took advantage of Boston College in the first quarter, putting up 10 points while holding the Eagles scoreless.

Josh Czajkowski connected on a 40-yard field goal with 10:05 left to play in the first quarter to give the Wolfpack a 3-0 lead.

Meanwhile, Boston College's offense, led by sophomore quarterback Dave Shinskie yet again, was unable to move the ball effectively.

The Wolfpack capitalized on another opportunity, blocking a punt by Ryan Quigley inside the Eagles' 20 yard line. D.J. Green recovered the punt in the end zone, giving North Carolina State a 10-0 advantage that would hold through the end of the quarter.
