The Eagles have named Dave Shinskie as their starting quarterback for Saturday's game against North Carolina State, according to a report from WEEI.
After a horrible performance against Virginia Tech, Shinskie was benched against Notre Dame in favor of freshman Chase Rettig. While Rettig performed well enough, connecting on 5-of-10 passes for 72 yards and a touchdown, an ankle injury knocked him out of the game early and will keep him from getting another shot at starting against N.C. State.
