Boston Celtics Free Agency Rumors 2012: Doc Rivers Says He Has No Feel On Ray Allen's Decision

Doc Rivers expressed confidence on Sunday that Ray Allen would return to the Boston Celtics, but seemed significantly more pessimistic Tuesday during an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show.

Via ESPN Boston:

"I don't know," Rivers said Tuesday. "We're working hard. He has a lot of options and that's the bad news for us. It'll be interesting. I wish I had a feel on it. Usually I do. But I can tell you in this one I don't."

Rivers said that he spoke to Allen on Monday and plans to do so every day of free agency.

The 36-year old shooting guard is reportedly visiting with the Miami Heat on Thursday and the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The Celtics can offer more money than either of those teams, but Miami gives Allen a better shot at a championship and the Clippers can probably give him a starting job.
