Former Celtics Center Jermaine O'Neal Heads To Germany For Treatment

Stay connected for news and updates

Jermaine O'Neal's career is not over yet, as evident by some of his latest Tweets. The former Boston Celtics center (remember that guy who was almost always injured?) is on his way to Germany to get treatment from Dr. Peter Wehling. O'Neal later Tweeted that he will undergo the same procedure that both Kobe Bryant and Alex Rodriguez had.

O'Neal played parts of two seasons with the Celtics, but never played in more than 25 games in either year. O'Neal, a former All-Star, averaged 5.4 points and 3.7 rebounds in 2010-11 and 5.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in 25 games this season before a wrist injury forced him to undergo season-ending surgery.
