2012 NBA Playoffs, Celtics Vs. Heat: Doc Rivers Tells Team To 'Pack For A Week'

Stay connected for news and updates

LeBron James eviscerated the Boston Celtics in game six of the Eastern Conference Finals, forcing a game seven. However; Doc Rivers hasn't lost confidence in his team. Following the loss, he told the Celtics not just to pack for Saturday's game seven, but games one and two of the NBA Finals.

"They're not just going to pack for [Game 7]," Rivers said of his team. "They're going to bring suits for Tuesday and they're going to bring suits for Thursday. And that's the way we're going to plan to do it."

Adding the cherry on top, Rivers wrote 'Pack For A Week' on the blackboard in the Celtics home locker room.

Game seven is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, at 8:30 EST.
