NBA Playoffs 2012, Celtics Vs. Heat Game 5: Boston Takes 3-2 Series Lead With 94-90 Win

The Boston Celtics took a 3-2 series lead in the 2012 NBA Eastern Conference Finals with a 94-90 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night. Kevin Garnett was spectacular all night, leading the team with 26 points on 11-for-20 shooting, and 11 rebounds.

Paul Pierce struggled throughout the night, but made arguably the shot of the game with a big 3-pointer over LeBron James to give the Celtics a four-point lead, 90-86, with just 52 seconds to play. Pierce finished with 19 points, but went 6-for-19 shooting to get there.

James led all players with 30 points and 13 rebounds, and Dwyane Wade pitched in 27 points of his own. The Heat are still struggling to find a third scorer, however. Chris Bosh came off the bench to score nine points in 12 minutes.
