The Boston Celtics want to move up in the 2012 NBA Draft. At least that is the latest word from Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, who said on Thursday morning that the Celtics are looking to deal their way up into the first 14 picks, the lottery picks.
Boston is aggressively working to move up into the late lottery, if not higher, league sources tell Y!. Celtics own No. 21 and 22 picks.

Because this is the Boston Celtics, trade talk comes as no surprise. Celtics general manager Danny Ainge has a reputation for seeking out a trade. Whether or not he can find any takers remains to be seen. Boston currently has trade ammunition with the 21st and 22nd picks in the draft.
The 2012 NBA Draft starts at 7:00 p.m. Eastern on Thursday night. Expect plenty more trade talk to circulate ahead of the big event.
