A win in Game 6 would give the Boston Celtics the series, but the Philadelphia 76ers are not going to be so accommodating. At the half, Boston leads by a score of 36-33.
It looked as though the half would end tied, but Mickael Pietrus hit a 22-foot three-pointer with less than a second left on the clock. It was only the second shot in five attempts that Pietrus made.
The game was hardly the definition of precision. Both teams combined for a total of 16 turnovers in the half. The 76ers have the edge in shooting, hitting just 40 percent from the field to 31 percent for Boston.
Paul Pierce leads the Celtics with 11 points. Kevin Garnett has eight points and six rebounds.
