Boston looks to recapture the series lead on Wednesday night in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on the road against the 76ers.

It doesn't get any more even than this.

The Boston Celtics and Phialdelphia 76ers have each won a game in this series by a single point, leading up to a pivotal Game Three in the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Wednesday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Boston needs to find a way to play better early in games. The Sixers have taken sizable leads in both contests, with the Celtics lagging behind and then having to play a maddening game of catchup.

Paul Pierce needs to step up in a big way after having just seven points in Game Two. Kevin Garnett has been playing like a man possessed all postseason, but now is the time for Pierce to stand and be counted.

Philadelphia needs continued contributions out of Evan Turner and Andre Iguodala if it has any chance in this match-up. So far, both have answered the bell.

Boston needs to stem the tide of momentum now, while the series is still young and can be taken control of.

An eighth seed hasn't been to the Conference Finals since the New York Knicks did it way back in 1999 en route to the NBA Finals. The Sixers are looking to duplicate that success, which also happened in a strike-shortened year.
