ANIMATED: Flying Mickael Pietrus

The Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks are locked in another tight defensive battle. Nearing the end of the second half, the Celtics lead 43-35, with Boston holding Atlanta around the 40 percent mark shooting from the floor. The highlights have unfortunately been severely below quota for a standard NBA basketball game. Thank goodness for Mickael Pietrus who saved the day with a flying put-back dunk in the second quarter. Leave it to a Frenchman to inject a little style into the proceedings.

You know the drill, GIF after the jump.

The best part about this GIF, outside of the wondrous display of human athleticism, is the portly man in the bottom right corner realizing before anyone else that what he just saw was indeed awesome.
