Ray Allen (swollen ankle), Greg Stiemsma (sore feet) and Mickael Pietrus (knee) will all be on the sidelines as the Boston Celtics face the Miami Heat at 8 p.m. EST on Tuesday night at TD Garden. Rajon Rondo's status is still uncertain.
Allen has not played since April 10, and told media that he was uncertain about hi return going forward. With two games left before the playoffs, which begin next weekend, it's looking more and more likely that Allen may not be available for the start of the postseason. Allen is averaging 14.2 points and 31. rebounds this season.
Stiemsma has not missed a game since March 4 while Pietrus hasn't played since the Celtics' finale of a back-to-back-to-back against the Charlotte Bobcats on April 15. Rondo, meanwhile, has missed Boston's last two games.
