Going into the All-Star break the Boston Celtics had lost five consecutive games and seven of their last eight, but following the weekend-long rest, the Celtics have come out of the gates winning two consecutive games against the Cavs and Bucks. They will look to continue to their winning ways this weekend, when they host Deron Williams and the New Jersey Nets on Friday, followed by Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks on Sunday.
The Nets are 11-25, but coming off an impressive one-point win on the road against the Mavericks, led by 38 points from recent injury-returnee, Brook Lopez. He, along with Deron Williams give the Nets an adequate one-two punch offensively.
On Sunday, the Celtics will get their first taste of Linsanity, who's cooled off a bit lately, averaging nearly 5 turnovers and shooting 43 percent from the field over his last five games.
