Celtics Vs. Bucks: C's Try To Get Back To .500 Against Milwaukee

Rajon Rondo and the Boston Celtics (16-17) welcome Brandon Jennings and the Milwaukee Bucks (14-20) to town in their first home game of the second half of the season at 7:30 p.m. EDT on Wednesday (TV/Radio: CSNNE/WEEI).

Rajon Rondo and his Boston Celtics will try to keep a good thing rolling as they look to follow up Tuesday's win in Cleveland with another victory on Wednesday night when they host the Milwaukee Bucks at 7:30 p.m. EDT at TD Garden in Boston, MA (TV/Radio: CSNNE/WEEI).

Boston squeaked out an 86-83 win over a red-hot Kyrie Irving and the Cavaliers on Tuesday. Rondo didn't factor much in the win, finishing with zero points while dishing out 11 assists. Ray Allen led the C's with 22 points and made two key free throws in the closing seconds to seal the win, which snapped a give-game skid for Boston.

Milwaukee is coming off a tightly-contested 119-118 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday. Mike Dunleavy scored a game-high 28 off the bench for Milwaukee, which shot 45.1 percent. Brandon Jennings scored 14 and had 10 assists and Drew Gooden amassed 15 points and 10 boards. Ersan Ilyasova chipped in with 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Andrew Bogut, the former No. 1 overall pick and star center for the Bucks, continues to be sidelined with a fractured ankle and may not return this season. Needless to say, his impact is sorely missed by Milwaukee.

SImilar to Tuesday's game in Cleveland, this game has playoff implications for Boston. The Celtics are clinging to the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, and both the Cavaliers and Bucks are right behind them.

This is the first meeting of the season between the Celtics and Bucks. The teams met three times last season, with the Celtics sweeping the season series by an average score of 94-80.
