E'Twaun Moore, a guard from Purdue, was drafted by the Boston Celtics with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2011 NBA Draft on Thursday night at the Prudential Center in Newark.
Moore, who averaged 18 points and 3.2 assists last season with the Boilermakers, was the second player from Purdue acquired in the draft by the Celtics, who also received JaJuan Johnson in a trade with the New Jersey Nets.
Boston sent Marshon Brooks, who it drafted with the No. 25 overall pick, to the Nets in exchange for Johnson - who the Nets drafted at No. 27 overall - and a 2014 second round pick.
Moore's best game last season came against Ohio State when he scored a season-high 38 points, making seven three-pointers in the process. Moore scored over 30 points in three games last year and totaled more than 20 on 11 occasions.
Here's some highlights of both Moore and Johnson.
