Jimmer Fredette took the nation by storm last season, wowing fans, players and coaches alike with his incredible shooting touch on the court. Fredette is a hot commodity, but is there a chance that he could slip to the Boston Celtics at No. 25 overall?
It's not likely, but entirely possible. Chad Ford of ESPN had Fredette going to the Indiana Pacers at No. 15 overall, but as we've seen time and time again, just because an analyst says a player is going early in the draft, it doesn't make it so (Brady Quinn can attest to that).
If Fredette slips to the back end of the first round, he has a pretty big fan in former BYU star and current Celtics general manager Danny Ainge.
"Jimmer is really a fun guy to watch. Jimmer's a blast to watch. Jimmer is a terrific offensive player. He shoots deep. He scores in a variety of ways. He's a really fun guy to watch play, because he's a throwback. I don't know who to compare him to. I haven't really seen a player like Jimmer." (via WEEI)
