Brooks was joined by Josh Selby, Nikola Vucevic, Darius Morris, Jeremy Tyler and Ravern Johnson at the workout.
The Celtics have been rumored to be interested in Brooks, as his solid shooting stroke would help to bolster the Boston bench and provide extra rest for starters Paul Pierce and Ray Allen.
Brooks, a 6'5", 190-pound senior, averaged 24.6 points, seven rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals last season for the Friars. In his junior campaign, Brooks averaged 14.2 points and 4.2 rebounds for Providence.
