Shaquille O'Neal, who hasn't played since Oct. 29 with a bruised knee, is apparently finally ready to return, and just in time, too, as the Celtics play at Miami Thursday night.
Shaq practiced on Wednesday and then told ESPN that he is planning on playing against the Heat. Celtics head coach Doc Rivers expects the same.
Doc: "Shaq participated in shootaround, Jermaine participated a little bit. Both will be gametime decisions. Good chance that Shaq will go"
Jermaine O'Neal is still not fully recovered from his sore knee that has limited his play recently, including just 11 minutes against the Mavericks Monday night.
