The Boston Bruins will open their 2012-13 regular season on Oct. 11 against the Philadelphia Flyers, according to the NHL schedule released on Thursday.
The 2012-13 NHL schedule was released on Thursday, and the Boston Bruins will begin their regular season on Thursday, Oct. 11 against the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Bruins open with three road games, but return to the TD Garden for their home opener on Thursday, Oct. 18 against the rival Montreal Canadiens. The home opener kicks off a six-game home stand which will take the Bruins through the end of October.
Boston will begin its preseason on Thursday, Sept. 25 against the Washington Capitals. The Bruins' preseason slate consists of seven games, five of which will be on the road. The two home preseason games come on Wednesday, Oct. 3 and Friday, Oct. 5, against the Washington Capitals and Buffalo Sabres, respectively.
