Bruins Vs. Capitals, 2012 NHL Playoffs Game 5: Bruins Lose, 4-3

The Boston Bruins lost to the Washington Capitals on Saturday, falling behind the Caps in their first round Playoff series, 3-2. The Bs are now one game away from elimination, as the series heads to Washington for game four on Sunday.

The game was tied much of the day – 0-0 after one, 2-2 after two and 3-3 late in the third period – but Troy Brouwer un-tied the game for good with less than two minutes remaining. Brower's goal came on a Washington power play and was assisted by John Carlson.

Boston ended up out-shooting the Capitals, 37-32, but Tim Thomas was only able to save 88 percent of the Caps shots against.
