The Boston Bruins look to extend their 1-0 series lead on Saturday when they continue their first round matchup with the Washington Capitals in the 2012 NHL Playoffs.
The series opener resulted in a 1-0 overtime thriller, which the Bruins won 1:18 into the extra session when Chris Kelly drilled a slap shot past Braden Holtby. Tim Thomas needed to make only 17 saves for the Bruins in his sixth career playoff shutout, but he was matched most of the way by Holtby, a third-stringer making his playoff debut because of injuries to Washington's top two goaltenders.
Game Time: 3 p.m. ET, Saturday, April 14
TV Coverage: NBC
Location: TD Garden, Boston, MA
