Bruins Vs. Lightning: B's Want To Keep Ball Rolling Back In Boston

The clock is ticking towards the end of the season and the Bruins are hoping to end it on a good note heading into playoffs, but Steven Stamkos and the Lightning are looking to botch those plans tonight at TD Garden.

Coming back from a mini road trip out West, where the B's picked up two big wins in three games, they are now heading back home to the Garden where they are banking on that momentum and hoping to push through for the rest of the season in the same manner.

Their most recent win against the Anaheim Ducks on Sunday seemed to be a huge building block, after goaltender Marty Turco put up a 25-save victory in between the pipes, and the Bruins line of Benoit Pouliot, Brian Rolston and Chris Kelly really clicked.

And it couldn't have come at a better time.

Tonight marks the first of two home games for the B's. They also play Thursday night when they will host the Capitals.

With seven games left to go in the regular season, every game becomes that much more important and every player that takes the ice knows it.

The last time the Lightning and the Bruins met, the B's fell 6-1 in Florida just two weeks ago. But they have to step it up and come back big in front of their own fans if they want to carry over some of the good things they picked up out West.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and the game will be broadcast live on NBCSN(HD), TSN2, and NESN(HD), and will be aired on 98.5 The Sports Hub.
