Bruins Vs. Sabres: B's Inch Their Way Back To Winning Ways

With a win on Sunday against the Washington Capitals, the Bruins will now try to put together back-to-back wins for the first time since the middle of January.

The Bruins were standing on the edge of losing three straight games on Sunday--a trend that has not been heard of since their dismal month of October-- but they managed to put it aside and come back to beat the Washington Capitals in a convincing fashion.

Instead of an unfamiliar game which they had been playing for the past few weeks, the Bruins turned things around and scored four times in a 4-1 win over Washington.

Tim Thomas also returned to his old form, posting 35 saves in the winning effort, and allowing just that one goal. Meanwhile the B's put up four different goal scorers including Milan Lucic, Brad Marchand, Tyler Seguin and Rich Peverley.

Seguin currently leads the team with 20 goals, while Marchand and Lucic are tied for second with 19 a piece.

With a win behind its belt, Boston now hope to try and string a couple of wins together, something that hasn't happened since January 10 and 12.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on NBCSP and TSN2, and aired live in 98.5 The Sports Hub.
